Who We Are & What We Do

Exteriors by Chad Robert, Inc. specializes in residential and commercial landscape design and construction. Our clients are an integral part of the design process and because of their input, our gardens have become reflections of their personalities as well as an extension of their living environments. We also focus on providing sustainable economical landscaping that enhances the home it surrounds.

Based in the Arts District area of Phoenix, Arizona, our designers work with Arizona's leading architects, interiors designers and general contractors to create unique gardens throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. Our projects include native Sonoran garden settings in Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, Carefree, and Cave Creek in addition to numerous lush, green gardens in such exclusive Phoenix neighborhoods as Arcadia, the Biltmore, and Encanto districts.

Each year Exteriors' landscape designs win numerous awards, and our projects have been published in local newspapers and national magazines as well as featured on the Home and Garden Channel.

We are licensed landscape architects in Arizona and California, and we are one of the few companies in Arizona licensed to do design work as well as construction. We are fully bonded, insured, and licensed landscape contractors with a Residential General Contractor license as well as a Commercial and Residential Landscape Contractor license. About Chad

Exteriors is led by our owner and lead landscape architect, Chad Robert. The design team at Exteriors has diverse education and professional backgrounds in Architecture, Art, and Irrigation Design as well as landscape architecture, which allows us to provide you with an all-inclusive garden design.

Principal

Prior to founding Exteriors, Chad worked at prestigious landscape architectural firms in Arizona, California, and Texas. He received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 1984 and is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects as well as the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards. He is registered with the Registrar of Contractors in Arizona and is a licensed Landscape Architect in Arizona, Texas, and California. Having worked in arid climates since 1989, Chad is an expert at providing low-water gardens without sacrificing esthetics.

As well as residential garden designs in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Phoenix, Chad has also been involved with major projects such as the Vietnam Memorial in Dallas; the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens; master planned communities, public parks and trails in San Clemente; and estate homes in Highland Park, Texas; Orange County; and Montecito, California.
